How We Got Started...

TPi Billing Solutions LLC is a family owned and operated company. The company was initially established by Roy E. Thomas and Don Thomas in the mid-1960s. TPi's original mission was to meet the billing needs of rural telephone companies in Oklahoma and Arkansas. In addition, TPi operates offices in Texas, Georgia, and Mississippi.

Throughout the 1990s, TPi continued its growth through earning larger business contracts, including national accounts. Success in obtaining those contracts has fueled TPi’s dramatic growth from twelve to nearly seventy employees today with a geographic distribution across forty-four states.

TPi has since expanded to serve the financial services industries, as well as offer solutions to utilities providers and non-profit organizations.

Ray Thomas is currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer, and his daughter, Tracy Thomas-Bolding serves as Chief Financial Officer. Rik Thomas, Ray’s son, came on board in 2003 to open and operate the Atlanta office.

A Formula for Success

“Nothing is accomplished in a company without exceptional personnel, and our company’s success is an example of that,” says Ray Thomas, President, when asked to what he attributes the company’s success. “Our people focus on providing the highest quality services to meet the customer’s needs. We focus on quality service not on maximizing profits.”

• In 2003, TPi Billing Solutions was ranked No. 20 on Inc. magazine’s list of 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
• Tulsa People magazine recognized TPi as the fourth fastest growing company in Tulsa in 2002.
